Thodoris Livanios studied Computer Science and Telecommunications at the University of Athens and holds a Master Degree at Quality Management and Technology. He worked as senior software developer at large Greek Firms, as Business Systems Manager at an International Hedge Fund and as Director of Political and Social Research at Marketing Research Company.
In 2010 he was appointed as Senior Special Advisor at the Ministry of Interior, Decentralization and E-Gov working mostly for the large administrative reform in Greece (Kallikratis Project). From 2011 to 2014 was appointed Secretary General of the Municipality of Athens and then Secretary General of the Ministry of Administrative Reform and E-Gov.
During the last 15 years, he has been involved to a number of campaigns and designed and analyzed exit polls in Greece, Cyprus and other countries, including the development of an estimation algorithm for the final results based on early counts.
