Kyriakos Pierrakakis

Kyriakos Pierrakakis is the Director of Research of diaNEOsis, a think tank based in Athens, Greece, focusing on the economic and social reconstruction of the country.

In the past, he worked as Innovation Coordinator at Athens Information Technology (AIT), as an advisor to the Greek Ministry of Economic Development, as Chairman of Greece’s Institute for Youth and as a researcher at MIT’s Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEPR) and at the Center for American Progress.

Also, he served as member of the Greek government’s negotiating team with the troika of lenders in 2014. Kyriakos Pierrakakis is a graduate of MIT’s Engineering Systems Division, of Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and of the Athens University of Economics and Business
